With this bustier sewing pattern, I wanted to create something truly unique—both in design and fit. I know how frustrating it can be to find a bustier pattern that fits well, so I made sure this one works for a wide range of sizes to give you the best possible fit.

This seashell bustier pattern blends the support of a bra with the structured shaping of a corset, creating a beautifully sculpted silhouette. It features plastic boning for structure (though steel boning works too) and a lace-up back.

This sewing pattern is perfect for sewing an elegant evening top. You can even use this bustier patterns as part of a wedding dress bodice paired with a simple or voluminous skirt.

To make it easier to sew, I’ve created a step-by-step sewing tutorial on YouTube, along with detailed sewing instructions included in the pattern. (Just a heads-up—the sound on my first video isn’t great, but I promise the instructions are clear!)

Main Fabric: For the same result as in the photo, use Corset Mesh, also known as Power Mesh or Netting.
Corset Mesh provides the structure and durability needed for a bustier or a corset.

If you don’t want the sheer look of your bustier, choose medium-weight fabrics with no stretch. Suitable fabrics include linen blends, medium-weight silks, medium-weight polyester, cotton, and cotton blends. Recommended fabrics for structure include coutil, taffeta, cotton twill, heavyweight satin, and jacquard.

Avoid lightweight or stretchy fabrics, as they may not provide the required structure for this bustier pattern.

Foam Fabric: Choose foam fabric that is suitable for bra sewing, ensuring it matches your skin tone or the color of your main fabric.
